Can be used with OCN West Midlands units or as PSD. Can be adapted to suit needs of individual students. Cover topics such as: Common illnesses, symptoms and how to look after yourself, Healthy lifestyle choices, How much sugar is in the food and drink we consume, Pulse and heart rate after activity and plotting results into a graph.

An 11 page work booklet designed to be used for students with special educational needs at entry level 2 and 3 (however can be adapted to suit levels). Based on the retail workplace, containing topics such as: Shops in local area goods and services physical features and functions within shops jobs in retail research into jobs and requirements skills required role play, running own shops with tutor observation assessment method and photo evidence A lovely resource which can be used to create a scheme of work and lesson plans.

A 2 hour lesson used to introduce product design/development for L1/L2 business studies or enterprise students. 3 different client briefs which can be easily differentiated, including a range of business related tasks which are time bound. Can easily be adapted or stretched into looking at market research, or broken down and covered over more sessions for foundation level students. PowerPoint presentation as a student guide/visual aid and an A3 pitch planning sheet.

A 16 page workbook covering household expenses aimed at Entry levels 2 and 3. Written to the AIM/OCN specification however could be amended to suit different awarding bodies or suitable to be delivered for home or one to one study. Contains a range of activities which can easily be differentiated for different needs. Starts with a vocational scenario with an evidence checklist and extension activities for extra marks. Supports development of personal, social and communication skills for living independently as well as embedding English and maths functional skills outcomes.

A 15 page workbook covering teamwork skills within an educational or work place setting. Students are given a vocational scenario to work from to show that they have an understanding of and can demonstrate good teamworking skills in planning and holding an event to raise money for their chosen charities. Embed communication, employability and personal skills as well as literacy and numeracy. Easily adapted and differentiated for students with differing needs.
